Corporation of Tennessee, the world’s
largest parking and transportation
management company, and Global Parking
System LLC of New Orleans. Local
businessman, Ronald Burns, a native of the
New Orleans area, is the President of
Global. Fred Parker relocated to the New
Orleans Area for business reasons in 1992
and has been actively involved in many civic
efforts. New South Parking has managed
parking and transportation related services
at Armstrong International Airport for the
past 11 years. 3 years ago the partnership
introduced “EZ Parker” which is its name for
the “smart technology” designed to improve
the parking experience at the airport. Mr.
Burns and Mr. Parker strongly believe a
business can have a positive impact on the
well-being of the community through
assisting in developing, promoting and
supporting activities which improve the
